I am a resourceful senior clinical psychologist who is passionate about clinical psychology and supporting diverse people with complex mental health and addiction experiences to reach their goals. I work with adolescents, adults and older adults and have been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also utilise body focused and mindfulness informed approaches within these theoretical orientations.
My extensive experiences in various public and private settings in Germany and New Zealand enable me to support people from diverse backgrounds. I have experiences in working with people with acute and complex presentations as well as less severe difficulties. I have been supporting people in community mental health teams and acute inpatient wards as well as correctional, university, dual diagnosis (mental health and addiction) and private settings over the years.
I am a Australian Psychology Board-approved supervisor and have worked in various psychology programs at Auckland University, Auckland University of Technology and Massey University in New Zealand and Bond University in Australia. I am currently accepting requests to provide supervision for psychologists and other professions.
